POSITION SUMMARY:
The Junior Sales Engineer supports the Senior Sales Engineer with technical estimating, proposal development, customer requirement documentation, CRM and project tracking, new account implementation support, and Blue Yonder WMS review and configuration. As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will offer support to the entire Sales team to help seamlessly transition customer-facing sales initiatives into operational realities. This position is designed as an entry-level development role that will provide immediate support to the Sales team, while building future capability in sales engineering, systems implementation, and solution design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Support - Work closely with the Senior Sales Engineer to manage daily workflows, customer inquiries, and critical project deadlines.
Technical Estimating - Help calculate project costs, warehouse space optimization, and labor requirements for logistics proposals.
Proposal Development: Draft accurate, professional quotes and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for prospective customers.
Data Management: Maintain up-to-date customer records, technical specifications, and project tracking records in the CRM.
Data Analysis: Analyze and organize data to build effective and accurate scope of work documentation for Operations and IT teams.
Project Management: Execute tasks to onboard new customers and add additional services to existing customer accounts.
Cross-Department Liaison: Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Customer Experience, Transportation, and IT teams to align technical constraints, implementation requirements, customer onboarding needs and billing rates.
Integration: Become proficient with integration (EDI, API, etc.) mapping concepts and assit with developing technical scope of work and customer build documentation.
Blue Yonder WMS Support: Assist with Blue Yonder WMS process design and development, new account implementation, system configuration support and issue escalation.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Data Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
Willingness to Learn: Receptive of additional training and professional development opportunities and open to coaching.
Technical Savvy: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint) and willingness to learn Salesforce. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
Methodical: Implement, follow and challenge existing structured processes that aid in seamless completion and execution of routine tasks. Thrive in detail management and drive for structured organization.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and manage shifting daily priorities. This includes the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
